Artist Dannie Sinisi:
Through my high school years, I took AP classes in art history and art. While in high school, I began to sell my artwork at multiple venues and was commissioned for mural work in people's homes. I was fortunate to attend School of Visual Arts summer program in NYC while I was in high school earning a 4.0 gpa. I was offered full scholarships to Cooper Union and School Visual Arts after high school,but was unable to attend school at the time. I held children's art classes at the Community School in Paramus, New Jersey. I went on selling my artwork throughout New York and New Jersey. A few of my pieces are on permanent display throughout New York City and New Jersey. After moving up to Warwick,NY. I began teaching classes at the The Warwick Valley Community Center, the Greenwood Lake library and the Warwick library. I have been fortunate enough to have had gallery showings at the Greenwood Lake library and been apart of shows at Milkweed Gallery in Sugarloaf. In New York I had a painting at the Guggenheim as part of a student show and privet gallies. Presently, I'm in a showing now in Port Jarvis,NY with more to come soon. I have worked hard to build the national non-profit Safe Space America and a local non-profit OCNY Pride,I began to notice that I was not only good at finding creative solutions to their design needs but I found I also loved doing it. I became so good at it the other local non-profits and Businesses started asking for my help. I had to get back to full time work after recovering from a bad car crash and decided to head back to college at SUNY Orange Community College to pursue a degree in Visual Communication. While in college I worked hard and took on the design needs of several clubs. I graduated with an A.A.S having a 3.9 GPA. I then followed with my B.A. from Ramapo College of NJ as a Contemporary Arts Contract Major focusing on Scriptwriting,Producing, and Directing. Also with a high GPA of 3.76. I just enrolled in Rowan University online Masters program for Art Adminastration. I get the joy of bring all these years of experience and knowledge to you. I hope to meet you soon. |
